We love our island home.  Penida Colada owner, Pak Wayan, was born and raised here.  And our team are all local Nusa Penida islanders.  We are always looking for new ways to #greenpenida.  We employ waste-minimizing practices throughout our operations.  Using reusable alternatives to single use plastic.  Bamboo and compostable straws.  And free drinking water refills for anyone and everyone who carries a water bottle.  We’re working towards a zero-waste system.  

If you too care about the environment and want to make a positive impact, we invite you to join us in our beach cleanup effort.  It's simple but incredibly rewarding. All you need to do is collect a bag of rubbish from the beach during your visit, and we'll show our appreciation by giving you a free young coconut.

Once you've filled your bag, simply present it to one of our waitstaff. They'll ensure that the rubbish is properly disposed of, contributing to a cleaner and more beautiful Penida.

After your efforts, what better way to cool off and refresh than with a fresh young coconut? Or coffee.  Your choice.

   Beautiful location, great food and staff
   This is the best location on Penida Island. From breakfast, lunch to dinner & also live music. The food was exceptional every time, and staff are very well trained & attentive to customers needs.
   This is the only place we have seen that has a sustainability initiative in place, for rubbish collection on the island. The rubbish here is the one thing that could ruin Penidas future so it is so pleasing to see they are aware of that and starting to make a difference - thank you!!

   Sustainably minded restaurant by the beach
   We have been here for breakfast and dinner for the past 4 days. The staff is amazing and the food is great. They had live music the last two nights. Also, they are sustainably minded and offer free coffee in exchange for a bag of rubbish. Their beach was the cleanest we've seen here. Penida needs businesses like this that care for the environment as rubbish is a big issue here so if you come to Nusa Penida make sure you support them!
